Camera captures boulder smashing into Hawaii home | World


The footage is dramatic enough to be mistaken for a Hollywood stunt: a woman who casually walks over to her sofa to watch TV narrowly avoids being crushed by a giant boulder crashing into her living room wall.

In fact, the proximity to the miss was captured by a security camera at Caroline Sasaki’s home in Honolulu, Hawaii. A huge rock breaks through her cinder block wall, leaving a trail of destruction in the bedroom.

“I heard a loud crash and apparently a boulder passed right in front of me,” Sasaki, 65, told NBC affiliate WSAZ-TV. “I did not know. I didn’t see it. All I heard was boom and then someone asked me if I was okay.”

She told local TV channel KITV4, “I didn’t watch the video,
