Las Vegas police released footage of the moment a police officer and a bystander pulled a motorist out of a wrecked car – just seconds before it caught fire.

The accident happened near the famous Las Vegas Boulevard, and the smoke from the BMW quickly turned into a fire.

“As you can see, both worked just a few seconds before the car caught fire,” the department wrote on Facebook.

“We are so grateful for the quick action of our officer and bystander for saving a life!”
