The infant, allegedly strangled by his mother, died three days after two of his siblings were declared dead.

Eight-month-old Callan Clancy, who was found unconscious at his home in Duxbury, Massachusetts, died Friday at 11:18 a.m., according to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s office.

Callan was hospitalized on Tuesday after prosecutors found “evidence of harm.”

The DA’s office said earlier this week that Callan’s mother, Lindsey Clancy, 32, is suspected of strangling her two oldest children, Dawson, 3, and Cora, 5.

Dawson and Cora were pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

Callan underwent CPR at the crime scene and was airlifted to a hospital in Boston for treatment.

Prosecutors did not immediately say how Callan died and whether Lindsey would face additional charges. The mother has already been charged with two counts of murder, three counts of strangulation and three counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

Police responded to the house at 47 Summer Street around 6:16 p.m. Tuesday after a man who was later identified as Lindsey’s husband called 911 and said she tried to kill herself.

District Attorney Tim Cruise said Lindsey jumped out of a second-story window.

According to the autopsy, “according to preliminary data, the children were strangled,” Cruz said.

As of Friday, Lindsey is in police custody in a Boston hospital.

Massachusetts General Hospital confirmed that Lindsey worked there.

“We are shocked and saddened to learn of this unimaginable tragedy,” the General Hospital said. “We express our deepest condolences to all those affected by these devastating events.”

According to NBC10 sources, the mother had postpartum depression.

A GoFundMe account set up for Lindsey’s husband, Patrick, to pay for medical and funeral expenses and get legal assistance has raised over $452,000.

“This help is especially needed because Pat will be unable to work for the foreseeable future as he endures this painful, life-changing tragedy,” the page reads.

“We all know Pat as the kindest and most sincere person. As someone who is always ready to support others, we sincerely thank you for offering yours.”

Duxbury is a small wealthy town located about 35 miles south of Boston.
