Authorities said bomb-laden drones hit an Iranian defense plant in the central city of Isfahan overnight as regional and international tensions engulfed the country. The Iranian Ministry of Defense did not provide information about who it suspects of committing a terrorist attack. In a separate incident, a fire broke out at an oil refinery in the northwest of the country, and a 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck nearby, killing three people.
