The missing 15-year-old girl was found dead three days later in the football stadium of her high school.

Adriana Davidson’s family reported her missing at 00:10 on Saturday, after they had last seen or heard from her on Friday morning. They said the tenth grader went to Pioneer High School but did not return to her home in Skio, Michigan.

The K-9 unit found her body around 1:00 pm on Monday near the school stadium.

“Our heartfelt condolences to Adriana’s friends and family,” the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

“You remain in our thoughts and prayers. We would also like to thank everyone for your help in spreading the word, sharing advice and offering support.”

The Ann Arbor Police Department said there was no suspicion of foul play in Adriana’s death and that “we do not believe there is an active threat to the community.”

The police are investigating the events surrounding her death and an autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause.

Adriana’s brother, Anthony Lopez, said one of her best friends shared a disturbing text.

“The text messages between her and her friend have a 12:26 timestamp where she texted my sister saying, ‘Are you okay?’ and then Eddie said, “No,” Lopez told WXYZ.

Ann Arbor Public Schools Superintendent Jeanice Swift said the school district is “deeply saddened” by Adrian’s death and offered her condolences to her family.

“Please reach out and support each other. Remember that this hard news affects everyone differently. Sometimes it’s very hard even for students and staff who didn’t know Addy personally,” Swift wrote in a letter to students, family and staff. “This is especially true now.”

Counselors and grief support groups were sent to campuses for the week.

“I know that today we have all come together in the Ann Arbor Public Schools community to express our thoughts of loving support and deepest sympathy to family and friends, teachers and everyone who knew and loved Adriana,” Swift wrote.
