The forgotten war in Myanmar where children are slaughtered from helicopters | World
TThe children had just rushed to the classrooms after the lunch break when their country’s armed forces attacked them from the air and from the ground.
In the first attack, two Russian-made Myanmar junta attack helicopters fired rockets at a school on the grounds of a Buddhist monastery in the northwest of the country.
Two transport helicopters, also built in Russia, then unloaded about 80 regime soldiers, who stormed into the area with weapons blazing.
By the time the raid was completed, between six and 11 children and several adults were said to be dead, with many survivors suffering horrific injuries, according to witnesses.

The death toll is not confirmed, primarily because the bodies of the students were taken out in bags, and then burned and buried in another place –
