Vladimir Putin mocked for wearing high heels during university visit

Vladimir Putin was ridiculed for wearing very high heels during an official visit.
The Kremlin chief, estimated at 5ft 7in, wore supersoles to pose with a group of young people at Moscow State University on Russian Student Day.
Putin, 70, has been seen wearing these heels for years, but they are considered the biggest.
One gleeful social media user remarked: “The Russian president is a man so insecure and self-obsessed that he wears high-heeled shoes.
“And to appear even taller, students of smaller stature stand next to him.”
Meanwhile, Russian forces in Ukraine launched another massive strike with missiles and drones.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said one person was killed in the attack, the first such death in the capital since New Year’s Eve, and two were injured.
The head of the city administration, Sergei Popko, said that air defense systems shot down 15 cruise missiles.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expects Moscow’s forces to launch a major spring offensive within weeks.
The UK will donate 14 Challenger 2 tanks to help repel the invaders and will begin training Ukrainian troops to use and repair them next week.
Defense Secretary Alex Chalk told MPs the vehicles should arrive at their new home “at the end of March” after a “really important” training program.
Germany and the US also agreed to send dozens of tanks, but Zelenskiy called for more, saying he needed at least 300 tanks to defeat Russia.
